Suggestion

Hi Guys,

This is such an awesome start to the club. My first suggestion is this.....many other clubs use more of a standard web site format with an area that requires authentication. Any new members must request membership and that is approved by someone designated for that duty. There also may be dues involved.

The way we currently have it setup is basically a dupilicate of www.classicbroncos.com where anyone that can type can get an account and login.

I would love to post up pictures of myself, family, rig, and also write up a bit of a bio as some of you already have, but I don't want this personal information easily accessed by the general (crazy) Internet public. Know what I mean?

Again, this is a GREAT start, but I think we need to consider a sligtly different format for the site....the forum can be part of it, just not the main feature.

I agree....a face to face discussion is necessary. The way I see it is if we want this to really be a club...and not just a forum for whomever, we need to have a permission-based area where only actual members of the club can access.

I agree with airbur - I would like this to be more of a Club than a Forum. However, at the end of the day, I really am just happy to be here.

This is along the lines of discussion Rox Crusher and I were having today during my wheel pickup run. I think most want a club, the CB.com forum is great at what it does and has the good/bad to show for it. I am looking forward to the club items of builds, rides, face to face meetings, helping out in the community, hands on trouble shooting, etc.

We could get crazy and even volunteer to take care of a trail for maintenance!
