Every time I restart my browser and refresh the forum I need to login again, no matter which browser (Chrome or Firefox)
Every time I login I check the keep me logged in box, but it does no good.
I deleted the cookies and logged in and still the same thing the next time.

make sure your browser setting are not set to clear cookies after you close it. My auto log in has worked fine for a few years now.

It was set not to, as it has been for years.
I changed it to something else and then changed it back, so far it is logging me in.
