98 Mountaineer parts

Postby DanHall » Tue Dec 01, 2015 8:44 pm

Anyone need anything from a 98 Mountaineer? The good stuff is mine, engine, tranny, harness, ECU but the rest available assuming it wasn't too torn up when I got it. The hood isn't great and the drivers door is toast, grill and front trim was broken as well. It had been in a couple of accidents and there was still deer hair in the grill when I got it.

If I remember correctly we already had this conversation, but I'd like the fuel sending unit and fuel tank if it's a single line. I can't remember what year the Explorer changed to a returnless fuel system.

Not sure if the mountaineer's had the rear disc 8.8 but if it is pull it before taking it to a scrap yard. You can sell it to jeep guys for about $150. Or redrill the rotors for the 5x5.5 and put the rear disc setup on the bronco.

74 Ranger EFI351w, 4r70w, ARB 5.13 9in, ARB 5.13D44, and a bunch of other goodies. Best of all the family memories.

04 Mustang Cobra, KenneBell 2.2 feeding a lot of boost on E85. Tire shredding machine

New project: 77 Bronco Ranger, body work and more body work.

Very little left of a 72 durango tan explorer sport

Yep, rear 8.8 disc axle with limited slip and 3.73s IIRC.

Saw one on CL this past week for $250, it may not have had limited slip.

I had mine posted everywhere for 150 and it took weeks for someone to buy it.
