A bunch of Dana44 Axle Shafts - Various lengths

Postby landshark » Sun Feb 14, 2016 8:59 pm

I have a few different axle shafts from several different Dana 44 equipped trucks. I don't remember exactly where they are from but know one set is probably from full width F150 or F250, probably 74-77. I can take measurements if needed, tried to provide some in the pictures below. Willing to take what you think they are worth - let me know.

Can you put together a bronco set from all your pieces? I don't have the measurement off the top of my head, but Zac needed a complete set.

Pulled out my backup front axle shafts and took some measurements.

Looks like these four outers are the same size

Image

But the short side inners are not - one is 1/4" longer the other about 1" longer.

Image

EB Inner length is 16.5"

Image

One is 16.75"

Image

two are 17"

The long side inner is way too long, not even close to a EB axle.

Don't know if that was helpful. one set of driver side might work. three of outers look to be a match.

let me know would love to get these out of my garage or i might turn them into art.

Outers should be the same between the EB and F150/Bronco axles (9 23/32" long as measured from the end of the axle to the center of the u-joint cap). Do you have any inners that are 18 29/32" and 33 29/32"? If so I'll take a full set. Otherwise I'll take one of the outers. I'm assuming the shiny aftermarket stuff in the pic is your spare?

Set aside a couple of outers and the one inner that is close for Zac, I'll work on meeting up.

One set inner 34 29/32 with outer at 10 3/4 or so
One set inner is 18 29/32 outer is 9 23/32
One set inner about 19 outer is 9 23/32
One inner at 18 29/32
Two outer at 9 23/32

I think those are correct. So looks like I can accommodate some of what you and Kirk want.
