Post South Bend Lathe SOLD
I picked this up a while back and don't have a use for two of them. Thought I'd post it here first to see if there is any one looking for one before listing it elsewhere. It is a model C9W 10JR with serial # 110185. I believe it was made around 1941. Specs are, 9"X36", 4 3/8" swing and 16" bet centers and bed height of 37"sitting on a sturdy steel frame. It uses a #2 MT tooling in the tail stock. Everything seems tight and works as it should. All the tooling pictured goes with it and what it is missing is the steady rest. These come up often on Ebay and can be picked up pretty reasonable. I want $650 for the set up here and it will be $750 when listed other places if there is no interest in it. I'm firm on the price but open to trades. In particular I'd like to get e Ruger ranch hand, Taurus judge or 45 acp pistol or?
