67-72 F100 with title

Postby akaFrankCastle » Fri Oct 07, 2016 3:00 pm

I picked up a 68 F100 4x4 a month or so ago and am now looking for a donor/parts truck. Looking for a 4x2 truck with an excellent body (read: no rust through, patina is fine, and no dents/bondo, original paint if possible) WITH TITLE. Running and driving are NOT requirements. Doesn't even need to have a drive train. The plan is to conduct a body swap onto my existing frame and drive train. Cheap is good. Not looking to spend more than 1000.00 on this. I've missed out on a couple of excellent trucks already due to work travel.

Alternatively, I would be interested in just a cab/door and clean title if that is easier.

Just a thought before you get too far to buying something with a title, there is also a VIN on the frame.

There is. And Missouri will check. I plan to build this as a custom vehicle and provide VINs for all vehicles parts are obtained from. Having a title from at least one of those parts merely expedites the process by about 6 weeks.

Just thought I would mention it, hate to see another project impounded.

You did. But I need something more affordable than what you had to offer. Meaning, someone's POS they don't want anymore.
