Drivers side is done! Went twice as fast as the passengers side! I put the doors back on to see my seat fitment...it is comfy! Still have to narrow the grill, tailgate, windshield, windshield frame, build new bumpers, build a new core support, build new rock sliders and build my new cage! A lot to do but I am just taking it one day at a time...going to be worth it in the end!

Doesn't get any cooler than that! Are you going to make a tube front sides and core support to hang your fenders, grill, etc. like Dnewman's?

I will be building a tube front core support and sides to hang the front clip. It will be tied into the frame and cage as well through the firewall.

Nice!! How much did you take out of each side?? You are working very fast!

I took 5 inches off each side. It is going pretty smoothly! I still have a long way to go but I am hoping to be done or very close by Christmas.

I have been welding on mine for 18 months and you take out 10" in a weekend and weld it back together, congratulations on a great build!

I got a little more done today. Not a lot but it looks like it! I loosely installed the front clip after narrowing and got one of my new rock sliders installed.

Keep in mind, these are stock early bronco axles with no wheel spacers on standard 3.5" backspace wheels in a 9" wide flavor. Looks like full widths plus to me but allows me to fit in tight places easily!

Very cool. I'd be curious to know how much weight your truck is losing by going with the narrower body, sliders, cage, etc. I bet it'll drop your CG down a bit.

No updates, just shocked that it has been 3 years to the date since I drove my bronco for the first time after narrowing it!
