Lars bars work pretty good with a long enough shock. Not sure 35s will fit. The fronts were rubbing already.

Still a list a mile long but it runs. Will be dropping the pan after the swap meet to replace the leaky rear main seal.

Hopefully no more pump vapor lock. Only downfall is it has to be an inch lower now.

It's a northwest metal fab hat with a walbro pump. Holley hydramat pickup. Pulled a walbro inline off and went this route.

The 15x3 that fits the bottom of the GSS342bx. All other mats have a pipe thread. In the end the price I spent to adapt all this into the tank I could have bought a retro kit.

A lot of elbow grease to clean em up but Im happy with them. A great wheel on a bronco. Now if the tires didn't rub at full stuff. May have to trim the flair just a touch. Or pull the rear axle and move it back an inch.

Were you able to get them rebalanced so the weights don't hit? I thought they wouldn't but I guess not. Let me know.

Well now that I have some miles and mountain driving on this thing I will say a couple things. Going back to the explorer clutch fan and ditching the taurus fan. Just cant keep up when working it hard even on high speed. Also lost the relay control and boiled over very quickly.

Next is this thing is a turd below 3k rpm. Not sure if its tune related or not but it barely pulls the passes and has to be floored. It should run a lot better than it does. I know some has to do with the 35's and 4.10's. It also is so sluggish on throttle response and building rpm from idle.

Other than that the trip to ouray was fun but too short.

It's hard to compare without riding or driving two broncos side by side, but my 351 seems to have great low-end torque. But down here in IL with oxygen-a-plenty, that could be the difference.

So a couple weeks ago I had Garry do some more tuning. It is a ton better already. We did our quick trip over mosquito pass and Weston pass. Bronco ran flawlessly except for a heating issue again. Which is due to the clutch on the fan is shot. So now I have to replace that. Also planning to get it and put in alloy axles this winter hopefully.

Had a few minutes to go check out the 77 since I picked it up. The tub is trashed. A few usable panels like the bed floor and firewall but the majority is rusted beyond easy repair.

Poor old girl! Maybe it came from the salt-belt?? I have only see two, maybe three broncos around here. My assumption is they all succumb to the evil that is salt!

Don't know what kinda shape it was in when the person did all the body work. The guy I bought it from has owned it for 25-30years. It was done prior to him. It has also sat in his backyard since 2000 when he parked it.
