Looking at the standings Chris and team are in 2nd place in his class. At the finish of day one he is 18minutes behind Boyd Jaynes and 10 minutes ahead of Andrew Norton. He leaves today at 11:21am our time.

I don't know much about Norra, so how many stages are there? I'll be tuning in again today to see more!

From FB:
Racing is done for day day one and now the work starts all over. Carb is leaned out with a jet change and we are going through everything we can to be sure we are good to go for the morning.

bobble head Bob Ross didn’t make it out of the first stage so that’s some unfortunate news. Also the race car tool bag that was strapped to the spare tire did not complete the journey

Bay of LA is 99% off the grid but found ultra crappy WiFi near hotel office. We made it but blew up a steering box. Replaced now and ready for day 3. No results for the day yet. Photos will come when we get back on the grid

sad news from team #35. Bronco is on it's side. Chase team is enroute. Chris and co driver(mike, phil or Jeremy, not sure who today) are ok and out of the truck. Team will assess the damages and see what happens when they get there.

No bueno. Glad they are ok and out of the truck. Hoping for nothing but some scratched paint and they can continue. Thanks for the update Rob.

Thanks for update Rob. Was wondering why the arrow was pointing perpendicular to the track. Glad they are ok and i hope all they need is to right it and go!.

Jenni says the truck is pretty bad per Chris. The team will figure something out. He's got the best guys with him.

Based on progress over the past several hours, it appears the chase truck is nearing the racer, but at the current pace, them seem at least an hour away still! Maybe someone else can help right them and diagnostics can start sooner than later! Will be a late night! Prayers for safety!

Latest Facebook post said they are upright but still waiting on the Chase truck. Damage appears to be a bent radius arm and frame mount plus a broken leaf spring center bolt.
