More great work! I like the idea of the heat shield panels! I'm sure your bronco will be among the more quiet inside!

I'm assuming the hole is for a spare tire?

Yes for a spare tire, in pictures it looks to stick out quite a bit but actually it less than 18" I think?
I built the swing out to hold 2-5gallon gas cans along with a ice chest. This was before I decided to go with a inboard gas tank which has at least 33-34 gallons of usable fuel.

Is that a different fuel cell than the one I saw? Or did you paint & possibly modify it?

I thought it dropped down along the spare more...maybe it’s not visible in the photo.

Same fuel tank just painted, the drop (sump) is only on the driver side.
I got the rear painted along with mounting the center console, I'm finally clearing out the basement!

I've been working on installing my stereo, I'm using 6.5 JBL up front with a 10" sub box. I really got lucky on the sub box area as I only had about 7.5"-3.5"D x 12"H x 33"W behind the seat which equaled to about 0.6 volumes of air space which is just about right for a 10" sub. The cup holders turn out better than expected and were made to fit the Yeti can cooler. I cant wait to pump up the 80's tunes lol

Because of my cage A pillar along with the front driver side speakers my e-brake will not fit without some modifications, So I hit up the JY and found this little gem out of a 84 Tercel.

Nice!! I want to do that as well!! Perhaps a disc on the back of my Atlas since it doesn't seem people have luck with getting the lincoln e-brakes to work well.

Thanks Jesusman, Once I get the rear disc's set up I'll try and find the correct length cables at the JY, if not I'll have this company make a custom cable set for me

When designing my cage I wanted to keep the wiper motor cover primarily to keep the sun visors, with some slight modifications to the windshield frame/visor rod I was able to make them fit. Next item on the list was finding the best place to install the GlowShift gauges the most obvious plan was to make a bracket and mount them under the dash. I'm not sure if anyone has done this, but with the visor slightly cracked I can monitor the gauges fairly easy without taking my eyes off the road and gauges are hidden. This only took Sat/Sun to complete lol

I wish I could have sprung for the Digital Dakota Gauge Upgrade, but at $1200 that was not in the BUDGET

Cool location, I also like the idea of protecting your windshield from rocks and bugs with the hood but it must be challenging to see through the air vent louvers while cruising down the road.

Before installed the transmission I added some more heat shields to the tunnel since I had some extra aluminum laying around and just for giggles I put some heat reflective tape it will be interesting to do a IR temp check from inside the cab and see how it hold up it may just melt off.
Installed the transmission and the AA adaptor and realized that when I sold the 3-speed trans I forgot to remove the transfer case adapt gear!!
Before I order one, does anyone happen to have an Dana 20 gear laying around to sell?

Thanks guys, I'm was hoping for a little down hill momentum but for now I need to work on the exhaust which I kind of painted myself into a corner with how I welded the rockers to the frame. I sure didn't think that one through banghead

[quote="Jesus_man"]If it helps, I am sure we all have confidence you will find something that works!

Thanks for the kind words,
After several attempts of trying to run the exhaust above the slider bars which I was able to do but would require notching either the exhaust or 1.5 tubing .5 inches I decided to go this route. I figure for what I'm using the rig for this will be "OK" an routed the 2.25 exhaust as close to the frame as possible, When installing the sliders I wanted the most clearance I sure wish now that I had welded the tubing .5 lowers but too late now. My mufflers arrived today so I should be able to have the exhaust full welded and installed giving the 3-day weekend. Summit also added this model to their inventory.

3 days was barely enough time to get the exhaust wrapped up and the 100 degree CO. weather sure didn't help things.
I made a couple of changes to the driver side but for the most part its installed minus the O2 bungs. I have some exhaust wrap that I will be using just after the headers and then made some heat shield for where the tubing gets close to the rear floor board, for the brackets I used .0230 galvannealed steel and .0190 aluminum for the shields spaced .050 above the tubing, this was way cheaper than buying them and should help.

Good news is the interior wiring is completed and now working on the engine wiring/assembly.
Bad news is the 2019 summer has gone bye-bye
