Havent updated this lately. I've got some more done. I have the fuel lines 95% done. Still have to mount them. They run along the top of the frame rail. When they come into the engine bay they are in the fender. ![]() Phil came over. This is how things looked when he left. we dont think this D20 has ever been apart. We had to fight to get it apart.. And it shows too. Many worn bearings. So now I got to get new bearings. ![]() ![]() Radiator mock up. The bottom of the core support is tweeked. It pushes the radiator towards the fan by almost an inch. ![]() got the fuel lines ran to the TB. Heat wrapped the supply line. Hooked up and tested the BC throttle cable. Mounted the top side of the BC kickdown cable. ![]() ![]() |

Nice work! I like how you ran the fuel lines! Should keep them cool for as long as possible. The small stuff always takes the longest! Keep at it! J.D. |

not to hijack but running the lines on top of the frame, i assume to keep them away from the engine/tranny/tc? |

landshark your thinking right. Away from the heat to minimize the chance for vapor lock. |

Well I got it to idle some this morning. Also put another 5 minutes on the cam. Once it idled I moved it forward and back a foot in gear. So the trans works atleast that far. Now to figure out why it's not charging. |

So it developed a massive vacuum leak somewhere. Wont idle stable and runs really rich. So time to pull the throttle body and see where its at. |

Post subject: | Re: Badlands 66 |
Redid the tb gaskets today. Disconnected all vacuum hoses other than the map sensor. still only seeing 5in of vacuum. going to do a compression test and leak down before the intake comes off for new gaskets. |
