Having all the access, with no front clip is a real game changer! Nice progress!

Been sick for the last five days but came home to some update pics today. Decided to do the wiring harness now since everything is apart and paint the firewall and under dash. The color is Caribbean turquoise. Front cross member has been replaced and hoops for the coil overs are in progress.

Very nice build/color, I really like the solid color look on the older cars/trucks.

Sweet!

I remember that first glance. I felt like I was opening up the Arc of the Covenant, LOL. Mine has been in and out so many times already, it doesn't even look new anymore.

Looking good.

When will it be ready for field trials ?

By the looks of it, we will have to find a challenging trail.

Looks like there is going to need to be some fender trimming!

I think "trimming" in this case might mean cutting, Looking forward to seeing what you come up with as I will likely be needing the same trim.
What size tire are you running ?

I was expecting to have to trim/cut the fenders but I was originally thinking the full widths would help some. Tires are 37 x 13.5.

Down side of full widths is they go up as well as out. I had to cut the bejeebers out of mine

Haha, shoving a 37" into a stock fender. I'm scared mine won't fit even with the pre runner fenders.

The fenders already had some minor trimming to the front and back, guess its time to cut some more. At least all I have to worry about is the outer fenders, no inner fenders, etc. is going to be a plus

WH gorilla warflares installed in the "extreme" fit's a 37's nicely. Should only need to massage the inner fenders. Same with the back. Inner fenders could be 2in longer front to back for 37's

Thanks for the advice, the back has already been cut a lot so I am thinking it should be ok. I really don't like the warflares that much, they remind me of when I was stationed in Hawaii and people would rivet the black plastic garden trim to their fenders to pass inspection. I am going to start exploring options for flares.

Jgz makes a large opening fiberglass flair. It's what I have and they fit like a warflare stretched out.

Got my flares confused, I will most likely just get the Warflares. For some reason I was thinking the Wild Horses Silverbacks were the Warflares, the Silverbacks are the ones I don't like.
