They are "Promaxx" formally "Patriot". I'll give them a try. Western engine recommended them to me. They said they have used them on several sbf and had good results. They are about 950 shipped, so half the cost of more name brand heads. |

I run what appears to be a stock setup. It works, so I'm inclined not to fix it! If I do, it'll be the Taurus fan or some other dual speed electric. |

Parasitic drag / horsepower loss is certainly a factor........keeping it cool seems to be more important in our rigs |

It takes horsepower to turn a good fan that can move enough air to keep a small Bronco radiator cool. It doesn't matter if it's driven off the belt or driven by the alternator, the load is the same. You won't gain horsepower by going electric. |
