Just gettin started... Pack the center of the bushing and the void behind it with axle grease or wet bread. Pack it. Pack it good.

Re: Just gettin started... My Father's Day gift to myself, new three-point shoulder harness for the rear seat. It came with all new eyebolt hardware that installed in the stock seatbelt positions for that custom-stock look.
After my boys help me do the install we all went for a ride to A&W and got some Rootbeer floats, Sweet!!! Re: Just gettin started... A word of caution. having the shoulder straps bolted low like that to the floor can and will cause very bad things to happen in the event of an accident. having them bolted low will compress their spine in the event.

Re: Just gettin started... What Rob said. The forward movement of a body in a crash causes straps set up like that to put serious downward pressure on the spine, and can cause severe spinal injuries. To be safe you'll need to add a cross bar at shoulder height, then run the shoulder straps over that.

Re: Just gettin started... Ideally, the harness bar should be at or slightly below shoulder height. Most harness makers recommend a 0-20 degree downward angle from the shoulder to the mounting point
