Took the Bronco and Cardinal camping

Postby BOBS 2 68S » Sat Aug 06, 2022 9:46 am

We took the Bronco and Cardinal camping up to State Forest/ Ranger Lakes for some time away from the kitchen work. We did some fishing and feed the biting flys. Fun was had by all ( but the fish ).
Bronco got 13.14 mpg pulling the camper. I don't think that is to bad.

Bronco is a 68 with hydro-boost, front disk brakes. And AX-15 5 speed.
Cardinal is a 70, no brakes

Looks awesome! We were just up in that area two weeks ago dirt biking and boondocking. Hope the mosquitos weren't too bad. My older boy got eaten alive. [emoji16]

Looks like a great place to unplug and relax!
1973 Bronco, 351 SEFI, Locked, discs, 35's ZF-5spd and Atlas 4spd. 235:1 Crawl Ratio. It may be ugly, but it's slow.

That's a nice setup and 13 mpg is pretty good towing!
