Linked-In

Postby Entourage » Mon Nov 29, 2010 9:30 am

Hey - Not sure if anyone uses Linked-In for work, pier, and professional groups, but I was on over the weekend discovered they have a Bronco Enthusiast 4X4 Group. I just became a member and it looks like a fun group interested in a fun obsession. The group organizers are very excited to hear about a Colorado group getting together.

If you are interested in joining, here is the link:

or search for Bronco Enthusiast 4X4 at www.linkedin.com

Linked-In is a great resource for employment. If anyone is looking for a job, Linked-In may be a valuable resource in your job search.

Thanks for signing up 75 - I am not sure how many Bronco Guys are on Linked-In but it is an extremely valuable business networking tool. A girl in my MBA Class has an interview this afternoon from a company based in the UK who needed a Project Manager located in Denver. Very effective networking tool.

I am hoping some of the Linked-In guys join our Club as well.

I'm in linkedin, have been for several years. I have had companies call me having found me on that site and offer me positions (or at least the chance to apply for one) with their companies.

I have never done much with it though, I suppose I should.

Best Buy Corporate in Minnesota flew me out for the weekend last year. They tried hard to convince me and made an offer on the spot. I am living in Denver so I took another position, but it changed my outlook on the importance of a Linked-In profile.

I am happy to hear of similar positive experiences. At the very least, it makes you feel good that there are other opportunities, indicator of the job market, and current salaries.

I've been a member of that group on Linkedin for quite some time now. It is very inactive. Your post is the first I've seen in months. Maybe we can get it going again:)
