Hey guys - I know a few of you are aware, but after speaking with Tim I think he would like you all to know what's going on with him at the moment.
Today, he is checking into the University of Colorado Hospital (Colfax/University) for 3 weeks to begin treatment for Leukemia. After that, it's home for a little while then back to the hospital for stem cell transfusion.
I know he isn't interested in a pity party, but he sure could use prayers if you believe in that sort of thing. In addition, I know he could probably use a kind face to show up at the hospital every once in a while to talk about something other than Leukemia. He specifically mentioned talking about Broncos! ;-)
Anyway -- thoughts or prayers for Tim would be most welcomed by him and his family. It's going to be a long, tough haul for him -- but he's got plenty of fight in him and he is full of Faith in God.
I'll see him Wed. and can post any special visiting info at that time.
Good luck Tim!!!!!!!!!!! Thoughts and Prayers with you Buddy! I met you at Johnson's Corner quite a while back before you had started your Bronco...I believe!??
The faster you get better, The faster you can go drive that BRONCO!!! Mike

Quick update. Tim texted me today saying he is waiting on one more test to come back but it looks like chemo is done. Then will be waiting on scheduling the transplant next to get him situated.
So, I’ll provide a little more info. The latest bone marrow biopsy was expected to confirm that I needed more chemo, like the previous two biopsies. Instead it came back clean, which is a huge answered prayer. So the stem cell transplant process is now in full force. I’ve got a lot of appointments and tests to prepare for the transplant, and it looks like I’ll be readmitted to the hospital on April 13 to begin the process. They are using umbilical cord stem cells, from a donor in Düsseldorf Germany. This has been a last 6 weeks or so, I appreciate the hospital visits and the prayers. Feel free to reach out.
