I am buying a r470w for the 66 this week. Who should I stay away from???

What I am thinking is the commercial transmissions remanufactured, or rebuilder companies. They all seem to cost $1,600+ for a HD 4x4 unit. Like Monster, bestbuy, shifter, powertrain, active (denver)etc. I am sure there are good ones and bad ones. I am trying to find a good one.
I am sure there are smaller shops out there also that do even better work that the commercial companies.
Who should I trust to get the job done the first time?
