They have provided me a quote for $184/year "agreed upon" value. In talking with the rep on the phone, if the vehicle were to be stolen (my biggest worry), they would write a check for this amount, no questions asked. This also includes $500 deductible comprehensive & collision.

I asked for the same thing from State Farm (auto, house, etc. now) and I'm kinda getting the run around.... they quoted $189/yr.

Any thoughts?

My experiences with several of the Major non-classic/speciality insurance companies have been, they would not cover any of my Broncos for Agreed Upon values regardless of condition or use. I used American Collectors for a bunch of years but moved to Grundy after communications and agreed coverage amount became a difficult excercise. I looked at Hagerty but they wanted about $900/yr for the same agreed upon value that Grundy covered for less than half of that.

My Red 69 and Race bronco are both covered under a bundle with Travelers, I might move them in the future to agreed value but My usage of both of them might be a challenge.

So Grundy wont cover you if you offroad it or daily drive it? I only average 4-6k miles a year if I'm lucky. I'm in the market for insurance for the 74.

I would need to look at my policy again, but if you have a dedicated daily driver, which you do and drive the bronco to club events, mechanic, etc. you should be fine. They require photos, for me they wanted all four sides plus front and rear but maybe you would be different. I never mentioned off-roading and don’t remember if they did but you probably know what to say about that when it comes to it. They also asked how much I wanted the agreed value for, policy amount will vary depending on the agreed value amount you chose but it’s not much.

Thanks for the info rick, i am with travelers for everything else but the 76 and I have shopped around for the best coverage and price and will probably stick with it until the end of the year. I just renewed my Grundy policy, plus I am preparing the 76 for sale.
