Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Big thanks to Phil for helping me with this project !
Yesterday I finished installing my ARB twin compressor system.
We relocated it from underneath the truck to the under-side of the rear seat. We made some brackets and welded them to seat frame and mounted the compressor to the bracket.
We also mounted a big ass air tank where the auxiliary fuel tank normally resides. 10" diameter by 30" long.
Unfortunately, after all that work, I found out that one of the compressors isn't working so I have to remove it for repair / replacelement.

What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
$400 seems to be the going rate for those seats, a local mustang shop had a set a while back and that was the price.

Still collecting parts for my 60-9 build and install. 3 link components procured during Columbus day sales. The single rod end is a 3/4"x3/4" for comparison.

Installed the tailgate silencer kit from Wild Horses. Definitely makes a big difference.

Some beef showed up today! Gotta order a custom right side inner to get my wms where I want it but I pretty much have everything needed to build my 60-9 now! 35 spline inner and outer with super joints. Pictures are side by side with chromoly Bronco Dana 44 axles and super joint.

I suspect you'll have other issues if you do something to break those!

Those are indeed some additional "beef" over the D/44. are you doing your own build thread process on them?

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
More goodies for my Bronco today. Wheels! I also picked up some new knuckles that are machined for high steer arms and includes a high steer arm. Coming up soon is a hi9 3rd for the front. Project is a little delayed but I've also got a fabricated housing for the rear and strange nodular 3rd for it. 35 spline shafts will be on the way for it soon, too. Going to have spider 9s front and rear, all 35 spline. I can't wait!

That rim is , what’s the engineering behind the design of the bead lock?

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Enough wheeling and all those segments will be rashed. But I also think this comes down to manufacturing. To make a ring, you have to have a nice big piece which ends up with a lot of waste. This way, you don't!
I think you you should anodize two red, two white, & two blue...

Awesome upgrades!! I am so tempted to do hydroboost, but for now, it's a luxury and there are things before it.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
Today I relocated my power steering reservoir from the firewall to the power steering pump bracket.
The pump was starving for fluid under certain conditions, especially if the Bronco was nose up.
I still want to get it up a bit higher to improve the return flow from the reservoir to the pump but it is already working better then previous arrangement.

Re: What have you done to your Bronco today? (v.2)
That's a great idea. I ended up putting an extension plate on my inner fender and mounting my res on that. I'll have to look again, but I don't think I can do what you did as I believe my York resides there. Although...there are 4 threaded holes in the york...
