This is how my luck has been. Been running fine until this morning. On my way to work. Believe it's valvetrain related. Possibly a flat cam with lifters smacking. or broken push rod/rocker. Of course it's on the driver side. I have to remove the master cylinder to get to the valve cover.

That valve tip may be too worn and it causes the rocker rails to push down on the retainer.

Only found 1 side of the keeper.

Valve tip looks good with no marks. Valve is stuck. Cant pull it up or turn it. So that means the piston in that hole is done for.

Long blocks are heavy. And 351s even more so. Fingers are squishy, made of meat and full of liquid.

Tonight I made a finger sandwich. The bread consisted of a 351 and one of those high density plastic shipping containers.

Ouch! Hope you're alright! When I was 8-9 I was helping my dad load a truck transmission into the back of a box truck. He didn't actually know I was helping and when they let the pallet down, my middle finger was under it. Squish! Fingernail only holding on my a thread. Some stitches and a few weeks and it was better. Still have a funny shaped finger.

New to me set of wheels turned out to be three of one brand and one of another. Enough of a difference to not pass scrutiny, but close enough to pass casual observation.

Would have been nice if the seller had mentioned that.

From what little angry research I've done, one Pro Comp and maybe three Alcoa's. Although the possible Alcoa's remind me A LOT of the MT Classic IIs I had on the grey Bronco.
