What a group!
When I was a kid, there was a beautiful brown Bronco parked in a garage in the house across the street. I was shy, but the owner caught me a few times peeking into the window of his garage, and finally one day showed me his rig and game me a ride. That's when I knew I wanted to someday have a Bronco of my own. 25 years later, I became the proud owner, but with zero mechanical knowledge.
I've been a member of this forum for something like 8 years, invited by FreeHeel Billie who left a note on my Bronco which was parked at Napa one summer day...
Since then, I admit I've been more of a lurker, attending a few GTGs which I hope to change after being struck by the incredible generosity and impressive knowledge and support that exists here at CCB. I remember how grateful I was with Justin several years back, when he helped me work on my brakes. I learned a lot and more importantly, he took some time out of his weekend, offered me pancakes, and was just extremely generous with his time to help a newbie out.
And even this weekend, two people offering to loan me a transmission jack, and the B.O.B. who came over and 'helped' me to lower my transmission, and helped in quotes, because it was more like me trying to help, but mostly watching him do all the work! But I learned a lot and now I get what it means to do something like that. I have no idea how I'm going to put this all back together but I'm determined to figure it out.
Just wanted to post a quick 'thank you' to everyone here in the forum. I remain blown away by the sense of community here. Thanks!
Oh, and I don't know if this is normal or not, but I was feeling major garage envy after visiting Landshark's to pick up his transmission jack. Beautiful Broncos, and I learned that he actually has three total?!? Man, that guy is my hero!
Cheers, Mark "LaffyCaffi"

Re: What a group!
I left CO 7 years ago and remain a member because of the exact sense of community that exists here! It's not likely we will ever end up back in CO, but I hope to remain a member forever!!

Landshark is hoarding all the good Broncos! Lol
Glad you were able to get a jack closer to your place...
