Welding help maybe

 Welding help maybeI have a lincoln 135 and I need to weld my new steering linkage. Any thoughts on this?/ Will I get enough penatration?? Plug welds?? Please let me know I do have 220 if someone down south has a welder Or I can come to you all tacked up:)

Re: Welding help maybe Plug weld for sure. If you know how to weld well the 135 will be fine. If you have any question about your welding...bring it to me and I will burn it in with my 220. My welder isn't exactly portable.

Re: Welding help maybe Are you running the GM TRE's? gonna flip it knuckle under? If so I have the reamer you can borrow but you'll have to get it from Justin.

Re: Welding help maybe My Ruffstuff steering stuff just arrived today! They seem like a good company to work with, but they didn't even know they had shipped my tubing & were ready to re-ship it today. I called them to tell them their order came in, just as UPS was there to pick up. I guess, if I hadn't bothered to tell them, I could have had 2x the DOM, but I was a small business owner for 10 years & have a conscience. Damn it.
