Everyone should know that Dan @ Ruffstuffspecialties.com takes very good care of his customers.

I had a couple "problems" with the orders I placed in the last couple weeks. I PM'd him on CB.com & in under 1 hour, he refunded more than 2x what I asked for & apologized for the mistakes.

Now I feel a little bit bad about complaining in my build thread, he really is a stand up guy!

They just updated their website & are offering real good deals:

I put this into my build thread, but thought his sincerity should be put front & center in its own thread.

Yeah, I kept reading that they were great. I wasn't sure why I was getting ignored.

They were overwhelmed with getting the new website up and a few things slipped. Unfortunately, it affected both the orders I placed.

I owned a retail & service store (stoves, fireplaces, hot tubs, billiards) here for 10 years. It felt like jobs either went very smoothly or very NOT smooth. After 1 thing went wrong with a job, you just knew that everything that could go wrong would, till the job was done. "Murphy's Law" was either absent, or in full affect.

It is nice when you are treated as well as, or better than, you would treat a customer. I always prided myself on really taking care of the customer, so does Dan.

They have some nice stuff. Would have liked to ave picked up one of their axle swap kits before I went ahead and put mine back together. might have to if I end up with problems down the road with it.

I bought all my cage foot plates from him a year or so ago. They ended up being back ordered because of his supplier and he shot me daily update emails to keep me in the loop on them. I'd definitely order again from him.
