Anyone know where to rent a piston ring grinder?

 Anyone know where to rent a piston ring grinder? I tried O'Reilly, Advance, and AutoZone....no one has them. I don't really want to buy one. Thanks.

Re: Anyone know where to rent a piston ring grinder? Not if you're careful. You need a fixture to hold either the ring or the dremel. Then just grind a little at a time. When you get close finish it up with a stone.

Re: Anyone know where to rent a piston ring grinder? Talk to sp!tfire. I never found one when we built my buddies 408 in his dodge. We just used a small hand file and did very little at a time. we must have test fit each ring 10+ times.

Re: Anyone know where to rent a piston ring grinder? I found descent ones online for around $40. I'm not near SpitFire so that's not an option unfortunately.
