 Need a recommendation! My furnace may be dying/dead. I have repaired little issues with it myself several times. My wife just texted saying the blower is not kinking on. We are planning to replace it this summer when it isn't as expensive due to weather! IF we need to replace it now I would like info for a recommendation for someone that isn't going to gouge us on price due to weather. Anyone have a recommendation?? Not sure I am going to have to replace it right now but I would like some information junt in case I have to.

Re: Need a recommendation! This reminds me, I need to talk humidifier systems. We put hard wood floors in a few years ago, and have quite a bit of oak furniture. I had a humidifier installed a few years back and it sucks. The humidity level in the house has never been above 26% since the unit was installed, and I know the humidity level outside the house has been higher than that at times.

Finally got around to check out the humidifier tonight. Apparently, wiring diagrams are a crutch. Pulled up the proper diagrams from the Honeywell site and...Whataya know! HVAC guy decided to do his own thing with my install. Couldn't even tell you if the thing has put out an ounce of steam since it was installed. Got everything wired up according to the install documents. We'll see how things turn out.
