Favorite pull-n-save places?
I'm looking to do a front disc swap on my '73 and want to do it on the cheap. What pull-your-own parts yards do you all like? I'm in the North Metro area but wouldnt mind driving a little. THANKS!

Anderson's U-Pull-it in Greeley. This yard is great, plus everything has a 30 day warantee. Give me a heads up and I could probably lend a hand if you needed it.

Too bad they shut down Speedway. That place was like heaven. They had a bronco sport, but it wasn't for sale and had raccoon poo in it. The floorboards were probably all rusted, too. Windows wide open for 20 years :(

Re: Favorite pull-n-save places?
Anyone interested in a club junkyard run after the breakfast? I'm needing a 3G alternator and wouldn't mind starting to assemble parts for Hydroboost, discs, and power steering.

Great idea - I need a combo washer/coolant resevoir and Hydroboost parts. Put me down for a maybe if I can talk COrtez into stopping after the Breakfast.

I may be up for Andersen's (still interested in your 4x4x2 magic) if no one bites for something Denver based.

That is Casadejohnson that does the 4x4x2 boxes. We could see if he wanted to head out there.

Re: Favorite pull-n-save places?
I'm in on a pull it trip after the B-fast. I need a 76 or later knuckle set for my ford disc swap.
My wife says I talk like a completely different person when I'm on these forums....

Re: Favorite pull-n-save places?
Man I had a hell of a time trying to find used spindle for my chevy disk swap. Every chevy with a dana 44 front axle was always gone or stripped. Finally I found a 79 jeep cherokee the big old style. They use the exact brakes as chevy with dana 44. Had to go outside the box a little. But anyway that axle was gone as well but the spindles were sitting right inside the jeep already torn off for me. So if you have troubles finding what you need further research pays off.

Re: Favorite pull-n-save places?
I was just down at the U Pull An Pay off of 66th near I-25 and I-76. That place is huge. Lot's of Ford and cheby trucks...in fact I saw a 78 F250 there with an NP435 (don't know if its the right spline tho). I could stop by there after the breakfast - I love the junkyard in the morning.
