My daughter's Toyota Corolla hasn't had windshield wipers sprayers for over a year. Finally she brought the car up and let me figure out what was wrong. It turns out that a minor fender bender crushed the reservoir. Checking the web showed no one local with a replacement other than the dealer ($250 ouchie). Web suppliers would cost $50 and take days. I fiddled a bit and removed the pump from the old reservoir, then found a 1/2 gallon jug to act as a new reservoir. She's happy now, and I'm happy that I didn't have to spend a bunch of money on her old car. |

If I weren't cheap, I'd be broke. Great stuff Clay. Someone did something similar in the 69. I suppose a windshield washer fluid bottle is an acceptable replacement for a windshield washer fluid reservoir, right? |
