At the August breakfast there was talk of fuel mileage, so. I just got back from elk hunting (the elk won). I got 12.54 mpg pulling my 4x8 trailer with 24 gal water, 15 gal gas and all the other stuff for hunting. Stock size tires, 3:50 gears and a tired warmed over 302. Just highway numbers. |

Better than I use to get with my 302 and a trailer, I was lucky to get 10 mpg. |

My original carbed 302 would get 10-11 towing or not. The efi'd roller 5.0 has done better than 16 on long trips. The 351w is also good for 16 if the speed is kept reasonable. |

Last I checked 9mpg. Hoping the efi and od will bump it up nicely. |
