So...I just replaced some old recessed can lights with some nice LED retrofits. They are awesome! And BRIGHT! Too bright to leave on at night. So I want to control them a bit better.

Must have:
LED compatible dimming
Dawn-dusk remote sensor

Love to have:
motion sensing with Dual brightness

So talk to me about options for this 24v stuff. How easy is it to install for the DIY'er? What's involved? Maybe since I can't locate this switch I need, then perhaps I can go a different route.

I would ignore some of the product specific stuff...I don't know how old this PDF is.

I like FX Luminaire and Vista products specifically. FX Luminaire (which is a subsidiary of Hunter) now offers a residential irrigation controller (PRO-C) that will control your lights as well. But if you want a lot of lights, you may need multiple transformers.

Also keep in mind that some of the higher end fixtures can get pretty pricey!

Thanks! I'll do some reading. We've blown our budget (probably many times over) on this house already, so I can't put much into this. But I will see if it's feasible for us and our situation.
