So...I just replaced some old recessed can lights with some nice LED retrofits. They are awesome! And BRIGHT! Too bright to leave on at night. So I want to control them a bit better. Must have: LED compatible dimming Dawn-dusk remote sensor Love to have: motion sensing with Dual brightness Here is a kit that has been discontinued, but it would be perfect: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001B5QYDU/?t ... sofbo0a-20 Any ideas similar to that? |

So talk to me about options for this 24v stuff. How easy is it to install for the DIY'er? What's involved? Maybe since I can't locate this switch I need, then perhaps I can go a different route. |

Here's a good low voltage nightscaping specification guide that can explain it better than I can in a long post: I would ignore some of the product specific stuff...I don't know how old this PDF is. I like FX Luminaire and Vista products specifically. FX Luminaire (which is a subsidiary of Hunter) now offers a residential irrigation controller (PRO-C) that will control your lights as well. But if you want a lot of lights, you may need multiple transformers. Also keep in mind that some of the higher end fixtures can get pretty pricey! Hope this helps. |

Thanks! I'll do some reading. We've blown our budget (probably many times over) on this house already, so I can't put much into this. But I will see if it's feasible for us and our situation. |
