Garage build

Postby landshark » Mon Dec 11, 2017 11:08 am

Well it’s finally starting. After several months of Denver permitting ineptitude the old garage is coming down. I will post up as we go but here is the original.

I am reusing the outside brick on the new garage and also saved the window which will either be an art project or donate to building rehab.

popcorn excited to see how it turns out. I also have a super old, brick, detached garage here in Denver. Someday hoping to have the money to take it down and rebuild as a nice 2-car.

So what's the ultimate plan for the man-cave?

That was quick. Although I would have gone with the pyrotechnic implosion. Not as clean, but way more fun...

Ya well it keeps the rift raft out of my backyard. There are so many randoms walking around in the alley that i would rather have a wall back there otherwise there is allot of peaking over fences and trying gates - I am pretty friendly with all my neighbors however but in nice weather my garage will be open :) plus - More reason to have neighborhood bbq's

That looks awesome. Way bigger than I had thought. You're going to love the space I'm sure after the one car.
