Re: Shop build From what I understand wind chill is the major factor to the cold here. Humidity is fairly low, which I also much prefer!

Re: Shop build Just a few last things to do and I can really get to work on my trucks.
They are moved in out of the weather. DSCN8456.JPG DSCN8457.JPG Added an LED light strip to the Bronco sign and I think it looks pretty damn cool! DSCN8455.JPG There are still a few tweaks I want to do to the building, but I think at this point the 74 will come first. I do have some general maintenance to do to my daily drivers that have been neglected too. It's amazing what almost 3 years of no garage, no organization, etc can do to a guy. Re: Shop build It all looks pretty cool. You will be a happy man and busy as you want to be. Best part will be starting a project or repair and needing to walk a away for a week or weeks, and when you get time to work on it again its just like it was when you walked away. You have the room and don't need to finish it immediately.

Re: Shop build Thanks all. I found a deeper blue light that I think looks better. The $11 led light strip comes with a remote control I can't even figure out all the options. Silly.
JD. I can't believe how quickly it filled up. I bought a few big tools (tube bender, sand blast cabinet, rolling step stool) while I was building. I thought there was PLENTY of room. Now I kind of wish I hadn't bought them, lol. I still feel like I'm squeezing 10 pounds of crap into a 5 pound bag. Re: Shop build So many good tools are bulky, that is the trouble. I do hope to build a shop someday, and I think I want to section off a 12ft section of the building that would either run the length or width and use that for large tool storage. It would have a double door and lots of shelving. On one end I would add a room for the Air Compressor and and perhaps a furnace or any other noisy items. Ideally, my shop would have a big tool box and a nice work bench, but the rest would be rolled into the storage room. I can dream at least!
