Arizona Stampede

Arizona Stampede

Postby Rox Crusher » Thu Jan 03, 2019 1:36 am

Has anyone attended the Arizona Stampede ?

What kind of trails do they typically do / how capable of a rig is required ?

It is the week end before spring break for my kiddos so I’m thinking about attending and then hanging around Phoenix or Flagstaff to get a sunburn

I used to go every year when I lived in New Mexico and was actually a club member for quite a few years, thinking I went for like 12-13 years up until 2011 and even drove down for it in 2013? from here in Rapid City SD. They run trails from mild to wild so there's trails for everybody, the event has changed in the last few years as different folks are running it with a few more rules there were in the past, but you still need to go at least once to wheel the great trails down there!!

I have not done that event, but have a good friend who attended several years ago if you want some more info. But I think 1SICBRONCONUT has more recent intel.

Also, if you have your bronco down there with some time to kill, you should look into trails near Lake Havasu. My folks will actually be down there in a couple days for an extended period and they will be "Jeepin" if you want to join. I can get you contact info after I confirm they are taking their Rubicon.
