Thanks for the pics. Your rear hangers are a bit lower than mine, and your shackles have more angle to them at rest. IF I cut mine off and reset them I'll end up about where you are. I've scraped on the shackles, but nothing major (yet).
How much uptravel are you getting? I'm worried about over flexing them beyond flat. I just set my bumps for 4.5" up travel. They seem flat at about 3". I could gain 1 or 2 inches of up travel by resetting them lower, but don't know if the leaf springs will survive long.

I still think I prefer my plan of attack with a tension shackle.
With your body lift you can probably get things set where you want. I'd just keep the EB springs, and take the guess work out of resetting them. No body lift has made my build much more difficult.
