wiper assembly question

So im trying to mount up a wiper linkage and motor on my 66 but the linkage does not fully rotate and the motor binds up. My question is were the wipers placed in different spots on certain years. Please Help

Vacuum and electrical were placed differently. If you stuck the electrical wipers in where the vacuum wipers went it will bind up.

Crap I had a feeling that was the deal. Never had wipers in the truck due to when I bought it was burnt out. Guess I could weld up some extensions to make it work.
has anyone try to do anything like that, that way I can get an idea on how much longer I need to go.

Can anybody give me a measurement of of there wiper shafts from center of one shaft to the the other please. As long as yours came with elect. Wipers
