Automatic Steering Column

Many years ago, I replaced the three speed steering column with an automatic column that I built from parts from several other columns...

Does anyone know of a tech article on rebuilding these columns? I'm thinking its time to tear it down again and rebuild it....

I have the Factory manuals but would like to take a look at an article too...

There is a ton of technical stuff here http://www.broncofix.com/index.php . I'm not sure if your exact questions are covered but it's worth browsing the forum tech section. Much of it is pretty old but I'm sure still is very applicable.
