Power Steering Box's on eBay. Are any of these worth BIN?

BIN, meaning, "Buy it Now".

I can't tell which would be good for my PS conversion (on my '72). Hoping some gearheads here could offer some expertise.

Thanks!

You should look into the 4x4x2 boxes people are using. You could put one together for cheap at the junk yard and have a cheap PS setup.
Ask casadejohnson about them.

I'll second the 4x4x2 as the way to go. More powerful than most of the other options and easy to mount.

Why spend $450 on something you can build for around $150???

That's what I was hoping to hear. I'm a total rookie at this stuff.

Going to the breakfast on the 16th? If so, I've got a 4x4 box you can have. Only thing you will need is to clean it up and then pick up the 4x2 gearing.

I can, definitely - where is it? I can't find it in the Meeting board. That would be great - thank you!

Looking like we're going to head back to Golden Corral on Grant, between 104th and Thornton, if I have it right from the previous ones. Keep your eyes on the Staging Area section for updates to that.

You might give these guys a call.... http://www.wcb4x4.com/mm5/merchant.mvc? ... y_Code=STR

When I put my power steering setup together they had some ads on ebay for for newly rebuilt original 76-77 Bronco 4-turn boxes. I called them directly and was able to get them down in price (as they didn't have to pay the eBay fees). Turns out they have a guy that scouts out these boxes and then sells them to West Coast who them rebuild them. I ended up ordering that as well as the associated Saginaw pump and hoses/brackets from them.

So if you're in the market for the original Ford stuff...that may be the way to go...otherwise, the 4x4x2 boxes mentioned above are great.
