Horns

Postby Entourage » Tue May 03, 2011 8:33 am

Silly Question of The Day -

Most horns are installed between radiator support and grill. I saw a pic over weekend of them added to sides by battery tray. Which is Ford correct? Is there a better place to mount them from getting wet?

Mine's on the driver side. But I don't know why you would hook up the original horn, it sucks, is barely audible and sounds like it should be on a honda civic. Get yourself a nice air horn or you could sprain a finger.

Driver side, between inner fender and core support is original. There's a open area under there that helps get the sound out. I wouldn't worry much about water.

Chad, I thought you already had horns installed? Driver's side? Just above the ear?

Don't those fall off at the end of winter?

No, you're thinking of antlers. Horns are permanent equipment. But I thought that last avatar he had showed he was halfway through his winter shed, he should be getting the new nubs anytime soon.

Lots of people thought the horns were deer horns - but they are actually devil horns (Dr. Evil Laugh).
