Finished my Headliner/Sunroof/Dome Light Install !!

Postby Crazyone » Fri May 20, 2011 7:42 am

Finally! I finished installing the material on my headliner, painted/dyed the sunvisors and wiper cover to match and replaced the old leaky sunroof with a new one. While I had everything apart I ran some wire and installed map light out of an Integra in the wiper cover. It turned out pretty nice. I really like the convenience of the map light.

Looks like Pimp My Ride got a hold of that - I love the suade look. Map light, visors, and cover turned out great.

Very nicely done! I'll bet your rig is comfortable to ride in.

The only thing missing is the drop down monitor for wii and to double as a backup camera! Is that a light gray? Where did you get the paint/dye? That pulls it all together. If you want another sunroof I have one in mine.

Pony - I got the paint from O'Reillys. It's Duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint in light grey. The stuff works great. I believe Entourage used the same stuff with good results. And thanks but 1 sunroof is enough.

Looks great. What base did you use? I bought some cheap fiber board from Lowes with the intent of making a cheap one till I can get the funds together to purchase a soft top. Thanks JP

Thanks, I used the original headliner, then attached the fabric directly to it.
