Have a chance at a 2000 Explorer 5.0 with 145k miles for $500...good option for a motor? What about tranny...it's a running vehicle at the moment

Howdy transfer !

Both are great options especially if well maintained.
1977 Sport, 351w OBDII EFI motor, 4R70W auto, 4:88 gears, ARB lockers, 3.5" suspension, 33" tires.
