Local Carb Rebuilder

Postby ScottBarnes » Fri Aug 18, 2017 12:10 pm

I think I've got a float sticking on me, and it's time to get the stock carb rebuilt on this '66 I70 6 banger. Any recommendations for local help? (Denver metro). Thanks --

I could rebuild it for you, have you sourced a kit?

COOL! Haven't gotten a kit -- any suggestions on where to get one?

A kit may be the hard part, is it the Autolite 1100 carb?

Napa use to be a good source, if not then may need to go online or mustang shop.

It's an 1100. NAPA had a kit and is ordered. I'll give you a shout when it gets here and I yank the carb. Probably a few weeks out. Thanks -- Scott

I think I'm gonna yank the carb this weekend if you're still up for the task??
