Chris I'd also suggest some tie down rails mounted to the top of the box. I did that to mine to tie down my cooler and other things I don't want moving around.

Just had a thought...I lined my toolbox with some cheap office carpet from a big box store. Helps keep things from sliding around too bad and might prevent things from making so much noise rattling around back there.

Landsharks 69er Bought not built project

Postby landshark » Mon Apr 09, 2018 9:26 pm

So it been a while, finally finished final inspection on my new garage and was able to get prepping the bronco for Mexico. Replaced dash, rewired some of the stuff throughout the bronco. Replaced one side of of the rear axle bearings, replaced front driveshaft and had the rear refreshed. Cut the cup holders off the console and moved it forward to stop hitting my elbow and be able to see the stereo. Rebuilt the steering column and grant horn and replaced the wiring in the column and a bunch of other stuff that needed attention!

Next up, large PS Cooler, braided brake lines and then grill back on
