Ahh, thanks for the pictures! Had some interesting back-n-forth with Matt, the creator of Bored-o-leafs.

I still think I prefer my plan of attack with a tension shackle.

It is nice how tension shackles tuck up out of the way. So far i have hit the spring ends but have not been fully hung up on one.

Thanks for the pics. Your rear hangers are a bit lower than mine, and your shackles have more angle to them at rest. IF I cut mine off and reset them I'll end up about where you are. I've scraped on the shackles, but nothing major (yet).

How much uptravel are you getting? I'm worried about over flexing them beyond flat. I just set my bumps for 4.5" up travel. They seem flat at about 3". I could gain 1 or 2 inches of up travel by resetting them lower, but don't know if the leaf springs will survive long.

With your body lift you can probably get things set where you want. I'd just keep the EB springs, and take the guess work out of resetting them. No body lift has made my build much more difficult.

Sorry it has taken so long for a response, life has been getting in the way. My wife got the covid and i have been battling the flu....go figure.

None the less, there is roughly 3 inches of up travel.

Thanks, that's about what I have where the springs are flat. I'm going to push them a bit past that and hope they don't self destruct.
