Driver rear turn signal wire color

Postby la hi » Tue Jun 01, 2021 12:24 am

My driver side rear turn signal assembly has two wires, grey and brown. What do each of those wires do? Are they both hot? Is one a ground?

Neither is a ground. The Brown wire is your running/park light. The other one is actually yellow and it's brake/turn signal.

I got the wire color. The yellow wire from the column to the left rear turn signal is a ground!!. How could it turn into a ground wire instead of a 12v ??

Fixed it. It was the pigtail in the housing that was bad.
