Carter P4070 wiring connectors

Postby Gunnibronco » Mon Jun 28, 2021 8:54 pm

Is there a better way to connect wires to a P4070 pump?

The push on style have always seemed insecure and today on my test drive one fell off.

Seems like there should be a more positive connection.

Solder and and paint with liquid electrical tape? That might make it hard to remove in the future??

Ended up threading with a 10-24 die and using ring terminals. Just need to find the right terminal boots to cover them up.
