WH Rear Seat
Has anyone ordered the WH fold and tumble rear seat? If so what is the width and can you put two car seats in it?

Re: WH Rear Seat
I don't have the WH version but I do have the Bestop TrailMax II fold and tumble and it definitely fits 2 kids seats.

Re: WH Rear Seat
If this is the one you are looking at, it actually looks a little smaller than the Bestop. http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Qu ... onco_SeatsAlso, I wanted fabric, not vinyl so the Bestop worked out great. Looks like WH charges about $45 to ship that puppy, you can get the Bestop from Amazon with free shipping.

Re: WH Rear Seat
Some of the rear seats out there are 36" wide. My bronco came with a flip and tumble 36" and it looked very small. I would try to get something like Airbur's that is more full size. The space is 40" so might as well fill it.

Re: WH Rear Seat
As was stated the space is 40", and when I ordered my Beard bench for the rear they run a 39" seat as standard for our Broncos.

Re: WH Rear Seat
The reason I didn't go for the Corbeau or Beard rear benches, is 1. the are very rounded and curved which makes for an unstable base for a child seat, and 2. they just weren't comfortable when I sat in them....just my opinion.

Re: WH Rear Seat
Pony: Yes i will be available all weekend if you want to grab those seats. I have to do some major garage spring cleaning. 2 car seats will not fit into the beard. because as stated it is rounded at the rear and not square.
i had planned on a booster for the little one and thought my older kid would be ok. turned out not to be the case. little one needs the car seat and older needs the booster. i figure by the time the little one can use a booster then the older will be fine w/o one.
For now I have a stock seat with removed armrests to fit one car seat and my son is fine with just the seat. You can check out my setup this weekend. i think it works pretty good.kids seem to be ok with it. They both fall asleep no problem and look comfy so they must be ok.
to do it again I might have just gone with 2 baby beards, or the PRP premie seats and then upgraded when they got bigger. In a few years i will mount up the matching bench to my fronts.
as for comfort the rear bench seemed fine to me, needs a little "break in" as did my front but I really like my fronts. pricey but really nice and I like that I was able to do them 100% what I wanted for colors and such.

Re: WH Rear Seat
I have seen Brianut's and it looks amazing. There are a few guys running the 40" Corbeau and could not be cooler. Battlement is running a special on Corbeau Seats. The Corbeaus are a great option if you can get the seats only and make your own seat mounts. The seat mount prices are expensive compared to the price of the seats and many guys are dissappointed with the rear Corbeau seat mounts and fab their own anyway.
With the Corbeau rear headrest option, they are 29" high in the back so they offer neck protection and comfort for adults or kids sitting on a booster seat - not sure how high the backs are on a fold and tumble.
Brianut - you are selling your new Beard rear seat?

Re: WH Rear Seat
Whew - I was going to cry if you were breaking up your set of dream seats. As you know I need 2 car seats as well but I have seen smaller scale car seats on amazon and walmart.com that I think will work. It sucks buying another set of car seats but so does having that beautiful seat in storage. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Evenflo-Big-K ... e/12960874 is only 16" wide. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Safety-1st-Va ... k/14034794 has rounded bottom http://www.walmart.com/ip/Harmony-Cruz- ... d/14914783 rounded bottom There has to be a car seats out there that will work and it is my mission to find what will work so I can have matching seats.

Re: WH Rear Seat
We have two Britax and two Gracos...I may test fit the two Britax seats and see if I can squeeze them into the stock seat! Anyone try this? I do like the idea of having the headrests for down the road with the Besttop and others that offer them.

Re: WH Rear Seat
make sure you remove the armrests and try taking the bases off the car seats, that is usually where the bulk is. of course that is only if you have proper latching points and the angle is correct with the base removed. ours worked out perfect for our daughter by removing the base.
