Assistance needed...

Postby mwlynch3 » Wed Jun 15, 2011 9:29 pm

Is anyone available this weekend to help me diagnose a problem with my Bronco?

302, Stock 1974 ignition, 2 tanks, new fuel and air filter, stock fuel pump.

It is stalling and I cannot figure out why. I am around all day Saturday...

If you got the time, I got the beer...

PM me for my address and/or #. Thanks for looking.

Does it just stall at idle or driving down the road?

oh yeah, sorry, it idles fine. I give it gas, and around 1/4 throttle it chokes and dies.

It will idle forever, but a few times it has died. Kind of hard to explain I guess....

What about wide open throttle? Does it choke out then?

No, wide open throttle, it runs fine, but getting to wide open throttle it will bog and sometimes die. It's weird and it's driving me insane.

Sounds like your carb needs to be ran through.
