Da eb weight

Postby cobshane » Mon Jun 27, 2011 5:50 pm

I am looking through trailers to haul the bronco with. I know my bronco probably weighs more than others but I can't imagine it weighing more than 6,500 to 7,000 lbs. Any ideas? I found a good deal on a tandem utility trailer, but hauling weight is maxed at 7,000lbs.

I have a 7,000 lb that works well. Pretty much means you only have 5,000 lbs (total - trailer weight....typically). Zero problems. If I had the dough I probably would have went with the 10,000 to haul the truck, but the 7,000 is plenty for the bronco. I believe there is another thread on this that Casa posted up. I'm 16', but Zilla is 14' and has no issues and quite likes it. Way easier to get places!

That's all I know....still not much!

Sounds good guys, looks like I will pull the trigger on this one. 10,000 lbs rated trailer may be a little much for my little ol nissan to pull.

Definitely...especially with deals I've seen on the 7,000 lbs. You'll be just fine and love the security!

Mine is probably heavier than most and I'm in at 4650lbs. A 7k will do...barely. Been hauling mine with a 7k for, gee 5 years now or better.

That's a hell of a deal on the gooseneck!

I was thinking that. If the Taco sells soon, maybe...

Let me know Zach, my Dad may be selling his too. Seems similar IIRC to the one you posted. He may be in the same price range.
