Lift Kit extras
I'm ordering my 3.5 lift today. I couldn't find Rox's old thread about the extra parts needed. I will be ordering the extended brake lines, e-brake cables and....what else? Thanks guys.

Re: Lift Kit extras
Most of the suppliers will have everything in the complete kits. One thing, if you decide on getting a drop trac bar bracket, I'd for-go that for the trac bar riser on the axle. A lot less stress on the frame and a lot better setup in the first place. Although with a 3.5 lift, I don't think you'll need it. Make sure to measure your driveshafts, the rear will probably have to be lengthened.

What kit and which vendor did you go with?

Re: Lift Kit extras
You may not need drop pitman arm but if you do I have one I will give you. I agree with the others, get the leaf spring shims and the trac bar riser. Don't forget the pink shock boots Also, my 4R70W swap is now complete and I was able to confirm that a stock lenght rear drive line is good so we can indeed do some swapping for my extended length one if you end up needing one.

HAAAAAAAAAAY!
Bootsy, looking FABULOUS!!!!!
Shawn, did I mention I lived dangerously close to the Short North while I was at OSU? Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Re: Lift Kit extras
Shawn, I will trade with you or buy your stock pitman arm. I dont know for sure if it will fit my 4x4x2 box but I would like to find out.

Re: Lift Kit extras
It ought to, I took the pitman arm off my stock manual box and bolted it up to my 4x4x2 box.

Re: Lift Kit extras
Just FYI: when I was shopping around for the lift, WH service was good, friendly, helpful and I'd use them again. However, during the shopping around phase I called a "local" Bronco Colorado company for the same lift and the online price differed from the over the phone price. The online price ($100 less) was not honered but changed (while we were on the phone). I find it interesting and disappointing that such cool opportunity is so poorly managed.

Par for the course. I've had that happen on smaller items as well.

I've thought of that NUMEROUS times, Booger. I just don't think I'd get jack squat done because I'd be playing in the yard or the shop all the time.

If ya ordered the Lift Kit on Monday, then you should be getting it today. What is the plan for the Weekend?

Re: Lift Kit extras
I'm picking up the third member today (4 pinion LS) and just got my axles back (new bearings pressed on). This weekend will be getting the rear put back together and loosening all the nuts and bolts for the lift. I need to talk to Rox and 76FB and set a date. We're maybe looking at the 1st weekend in May! Anyone is welcome to come and help or jokes at me. I'll post up some dates after this weekend's breakfast (and some bylaws for the Gregg's Lift Event...)

Lift Kit extras
I've had awesome experience with the local store. One, I don't ever go to their website as I know it's outdated and isnt kept ip. I always look at Toms, WH, and Jeff's before i call to get a feel. After doing that i call and then wait for the call or email back. Its always been cheaper! Between power steering, disc brakes, soft top, seats, lift, and belts I've saved over 900.00 bucks through ordering local and not using WH and Toms. All the parts come from 1 of the 2 shops but with discount from their web price and free shipping! You can bash all you want and I agree there's alot of money and reputation on the line and yes the reputation is not solid but I'm still saving more money and not paying shipping for the same parts and getting the same crap! Just my two cents.

Re: Lift Kit extras
Good to know 99. I want to get with them on some replacement seat covers for my Ranger interior and they seem to be the only ones that sell it.
